North Vancouver Gas Prices Today

Live prices at every North Vancouver station we track, sorted cheapest first and refreshed hourly. Cheapest right now: 196¢/L at Mobil.

The North Shore is the most expensive sub-market in Metro Vancouver, which is itself Canada’s most expensive gas market — so North Vancouver and West Vancouver drivers are usually choosing which station stings least rather than hunting a genuine bargain. Two bridges throttle competition from the rest of the region, station count is low, and West Vancouver’s handful of pumps along Marine Drive and Taylor Way price like the luxury real estate around them.

Within that reality there is still a pecking order. The Main Street/Mountain Highway stations near the Second Narrows, the Marine Drive corridor through Norgate, and the mid-Lonsdale sites are typically the least painful fills on the Shore, while anything close to Park Royal or the highway on-ramps runs hotter. If your day already takes you over a bridge, filling in Vancouver or Burnaby first is the single biggest saving available. The list below ranks every North Shore station we track by current price, refreshed hourly.

Gas in North Vancouver: FAQ

Where is the cheapest gas in North Vancouver?

The stations along Main Street and Mountain Highway near the Second Narrows Bridge and the Marine Drive corridor through Norgate usually post the North Shore’s best prices. The live list above shows which one is cheapest right now.

Why is gas so expensive on the North Shore?

Few stations, high land costs and a market cut off by two bridges. With little discount competition and captive local demand, North Shore pumps sit at the top of Metro Vancouver’s range — filling before you cross a bridge home is often worth several cents per litre.

Does this page include West Vancouver?

Yes — West Vancouver’s small set of stations is ranked here alongside North Vancouver’s, since the North Shore functions as one market. Each card shows the station’s city and address.
